According to a statement from the BPD, the incident took place around 10:26 PM at the 7-Eleven located on 140 Main Street in Charlestown. The suspect reportedly brandished a firearm, leaped over the counter, and made off with cash from the register.
Described as a white male with a scruffy beard, the suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a black baseball hat, sunglasses, blue jeans, and black running sneakers. Officials are combing through surveillance footage, hoping to pinpoint further details that might lead to the apprehension of the suspect who displayed a firearm, who has stirred unease in the Charlestown community.
Residents and business owners have been urged to come forward with any information that may lead to the identification and capture of the individual responsible for this crime.
