The Canadian Pacific Railroad's Holiday Train is set to bring its festive lights and charitable spirit to Wright County on Saturday, Dec. 14. This beloved locomotive spectacle will make stops across various communities, offering residents a chance to experience its dazzling display of hundreds of thousands of LED lights and live musical performances, according to Wright County.
For those looking to catch the train, it is slated to arrive at 4:30 p.m. in Loretto at CSAH 19, followed by a 6 p.m. appearance in Buffalo at 5th Street Northeast, then at 7:30 p.m. in Annandale at Downtown Park. As detailed by Wright County, the train will wrap up its local tour at 9 p.m. in Eden Valley at State Street and Hwy. 22. While CP’s Holiday Train endeavors to maintain a precise schedule, event planners remind attendees that times may slightly vary.
Crowds are expected to be large, as the tradition has drawn sizable gatherings in years past. Indeed, this year marks the 26th annual journey for the train, which rides from Nov. 21 through Dec. 20 throughout the United States and Canada, as stated by Wright County officials. Organizers recommend arriving early to secure a good viewing spot at the scheduled locations.
