The Vision Gallery is hosting its 29th Annual Art Quilts exhibit, titled "Art Quilts: IMPACT!". The show features quilts with striking imagery and powerful messages, with submissions from fiber artists across the country and internationally, according to the City of Chandler.
Wendy Raisanen, the juror for this year's exhibit, shared her excitement, saying, "It was an honor to conceive of the exhibition, ‘Art Quilts: IMPACT!’. Jurying the work into the show was like opening gift after gift of bold ideas, color and design." The exhibit showcases the creativity and skill involved in quilt making, as reported by the City of Chandler.
The exhibit "Art Quilts: IMPACT!" opens at the Vision Gallery on Nov. 16, with a reception from 3-5 p.m. It will be on display through Jan. 19, 2025, and admission is free. The gallery is located at 10 E. Chicago St. and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed Sundays).
