According to ABC 10News, Daniell Shirazi, whose mother owns The Original Paw Pleasers, highlighted the bakery's role in their decision to open a Chula Vista location. Formerly a home-based operation, Mmm...Cakes blossomed into a storefront on Third Avenue in historic Chula Vista in 2021. Jose Barajas and his family crafted it following his television appearances in bakery competitions. The Mmm...
