
Spreading cheer in a community-focused way, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office rolled up its sleeves for a heartwarming cause this Halloween. Deputies from the Northwest Patrol Station joined in the Village of Vinton's second annual trunk or treat event, handing out candy to enthusiastic children and their families. The October 30th celebration painted a sweet picture of community engagement, as stated by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
Accompanied by the endearing Deputy Dawg, the law enforcement officers brought more than just treats, they brought a sense of safety and joy to Dr. Applegate Park where the event took place. "Deputies along with their beloved Deputy Dawg, were thrilled to be part of the festivities and spread joy to the children in attendance," as reported by El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. Wrapped in their costumes, the children, eager to share in the Halloween spirit, found a haven for their festivities amidst the day's interactive engagements.
The Village of Vinton pulled out all the stops to ensure the trunk or treat event was a hit. Residents from the charming Texas community witnessed their local park transform into a spooktacular celebration zone. Decked with festive decorations, children and their families reveled in the Halloween-themed activities that set the park aglow. An assortment of sweet delights awaited the trick-or-treaters at every corner, generously offered by officers who were key in creating a secure environment for the celebration.
