KFOX-TV reported that the incident occurred at the intersection of N Festival Dr. and N Mesa St. Emergency responders rushed the injured individual to the hospital. Following the collision, a significant section of the road was closed to allow the Special Traffic Investigators to investigate, which resulted in traffic delays. Running into the night, the investigation caused a shutdown of Mesa St. at Paragon, as KTSM detailed.
