Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve will host a Nature Wellness Walk on Wednesday, November 27th, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. According to the park's announcement on the Scott County website, the event invites participants to hike along a two-mile mindfulness trail designed to encourage reflection and gratitude.
Attendees will follow a trail that features prompts for mindfulness and activities for both adults and families. A guided group hike will depart at 10:00 A.M., with a return by 11:15 A.M., and an extended option will be available for those wanting to walk longer.
Participants will also be invited to gently tie a small blessing for the environment on a tree branch, providing a physical token of their gratitude and connection to nature.
This free event is open to the public, with families encouraged to attend. Children aged 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The walk offers a chance for community bonding and personal wellness, set against the scenic backdrop of Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve.
