Glendale is set to dazzle citizens and visitors alike with the return of Glendale Glitters, a treasured two-night festivity launching the season's gaieties. This annual display of holiday lights tradition, now glowing strong for over three decades, will commence with ceremonious tree lighting on November 29, 2024, according to an official release from the City of Glendale. The event promises a heartwarming experience with its medley of carolers, an assemblage of vendors, and a visitation from jolly old Saint Nick himself on the nights of November 29-30.
Amidst twirling carolers and tingling chimes, locals can amble through the splendidly illuminated downtown Glendale, indulging in arts and crafts ideal for that special someone's holiday present. The admirers of festive lights can bask in the glow that will continue to emanate its holiday spirit until the stroke of the New Year.
The tree lighting is an anticipated scene, set to sparkle the evening at 5:45 p.m. on November 29 in a display of holiday cheer in front of the Glendale Civic Center at 5750 W. Glenn Drive.
