Grammy-nominated artist K.Flay will embark on a North American tour in 2025, including a show at The Van Buren in Phoenix on March 26. The tour coincides with the release of her new EP, "I'm Making Friends with the Silence," which will be available on November 12. This EP features six reimagined tracks from her 2023 album, "MONO," according to Phoenix New Times.
"MONO" is a personal album by K.Flay, influenced by her experience with sudden hearing loss in her right ear. She noted, "My SSD (single-sided deafness) and profound tinnitus make listening to loud music difficult. And so a strange fact hung in the air: I'd made an album that was hard for me to listen to," in a statement obtained by Exclaim!.
Tickets for K.Flay's upcoming tour are already on sale, with the tour kicking off on February 24 in Sacramento, California, at the Ace of Spades. The tour will include stops in key cities like Vancouver on February 27 and Toronto on March 10. Fans can look forward to live performances featuring her reimagined EP, "I’m Making Friends With the Silence," along with softer versions of "Punisher" and "Carsick." The setlist will showcase her entire discography, blending the intimacy of new adaptations with the energy of her previous work.
