In Antioch, ShotSpotter alerts led police to two connected shootings yesterday. According to the Antioch Police Department, the first incident occurred around 3:26 PM near Spanos Street and Mahogany Way. Three minutes later, another alert reported gunfire from the 1000 block of Sycamore Drive.

Police determined that two to three suspects in a vehicle had fired at another car carrying two people at the first location. Fortunately, no one in the targeted car was injured, and the suspects fled.

Later, a 27-year-old man arrived at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds linked to the second shooting. He is in stable condition and recovering. The investigation is ongoing, and the identities of those involved remain undisclosed.
