Earlier this past Sunday, the peace of Bennett Street NW in Atlanta was disturbed by gunfire. Atlanta Police Zone 5 officers were called to 22 Bennett St NW following reports of a shooting incident. Arriving at the scene around 1:36 a.m., the officers quickly learned that a 35-year-old man had been shot and was already on his way to the hospital, thanks to a private vehicle that whisked him from the scene, according to a statement from Atlanta Police Department.
The victim arrived at the hospital in stable condition.
