
Tragedy struck Jackson, Tennessee, when five people, including a two-year-old child, were found shot inside an SUV yesterday afternoon. The Jackson Police Department responded to a call of shots fired on Wallace Road just before 4 p.m., as confirmed by Local Memphis. The wounded were rushed to a nearby hospital, with some requiring to be airlifted urgently to a Memphis hospital for further treatment.
FOX13 Memphis reported that police, using surveillance footage, were able to identify the suspect's vehicle as a white 4-door sedan. Jackson Police have taken into custody an adult person of interest as their investigation unfolds. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear as officials work to piece together the events that led up to the incident.
