In Vacaville at around 4:00 AM, officers from the Dixon Police Department rushed to a reported burglary on the 900 block of North Lincoln Street, where they utilized surveillance video to spot a suspect filching gun cases and loading them into a vehicle.
The unidentified suspect's vehicle, caught on camera, became the key to unraveling the criminal's intent. The make and model were disseminated amongst area police departments. It wasn't long before the vehicle was spotted by vigilant Vacaville officers who, without hesitation, set into motion a concerted crackdown on the alleged burglar's activities. With a search warrant, officers unearthed evidence tying the suspect to prior thefts in Dixon.
In a press release from the Vacaville Police Department, it was reported that the suspect, 44-year-old Isaiah Luna from Vacaville, now faces charges of burglary and possession of stolen property.
