
On a late Thanksgiving evening in Mt. Juliet, a trio of juveniles found themselves on the wrong side of the law, with charges mounting against them for a holiday-decoration heist. According to a report by WSMV, police were alerted to a theft in progress at the Windtree Trace subdivision, where suspects were seen loading stolen Christmas decorations into their truck.
The Mt. Juliet Police Department stated, "This is another great example of our community and officers working together to ensure crime isn’t successful in MJ." As reported by a social media post from the police department, a vigilant resident with a video surveillance system was to quickly identify the suspect's vehicle, which led officers to a Waffle House where the truck, still laden with the festive loot, was found.

The bandits in question, comprised of two Nashville residents and one from La Vergne, were subsequently arrested and charged. Their identities remain shielded by the veil of juvenile protection laws, as noted by a Fox17 report.
