Gunfire early in the morning at the Twin Oaks Apartments on Bankside Drive left a man seriously injured and a young girl with a minor wound. The Memphis Police Department was called to the scene shortly before 8 a.m., as Action News 5 reported.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims: a man in critical condition and a girl who a bullet had grazed. The man was urgently transported to Regional One Hospital, his fate hanging in the balance. At the same time, the girl received care at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, her injuries non-threatening to her young life. No suspect information is available, and the Memphis Police Department's investigation persists, as WREG detailed.
