A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle late last night on the connector of I-75/85 southbound and I-20. The incident, which occurred around 11:40 p.m., left a male victim deceased on the highway. Responding to the scene, officers discovered the man in the roadway and he was subsequently pronounced dead by Grady EMS, according to the Atlanta Police Department.

The preliminary investigation suggests that the male attempted to cross the interstate on foot when he was hit by the moving vehicle. The driver involved in the incident stayed at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement, as confirmed by Atlanta Police Department's statement.
