A 50-year-old man was found dead following a reported shooting in the West End neighborhood. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the man was discovered lying in an alley behind the 700 block of Goodfellow yesterday, just before 3:30 p.m. Suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound(s), emergency responders declared the man deceased at the scene.
The police broadcasted a description of a suspect shortly after the incident, which led to the apprehension near the scene. A firearm has been recovered, and the suspect is now in custody.
