Manchester NH Police are on the hunt for a suspect, or suspects, related to two burglaries at the Parkside Convenience Store on Hooksett Rd this month. On November 7, officers were dispatched following a break-in call where they discovered two broken windows and a damaged door. According to the store's surveillance footage, an individual can be seen at approximately 1:30 am, making off with cash, cigarettes, and scratch tickets.
Not even a week later, last Monday, the site of the previous crime was hit again. The board used to cover past damages was found on the ground, a testament to the suspect's return. In the second incident, captured at around 2 am, the culprit is seen prying off the board and filling a bag with more cash and cigarettes. The Manchester Police post on Facebook reveals the suspect sported a hood, which obscured his face.
Preliminary investigation by the authorities suggests a link between the two incidents, leading to a public call for information. Detective James Pittman has been assigned to the case and the Manchester NH Police is urging anyone with details to step forward. The Manchester Police department's official statement requests that "Anyone with information about these crimes should call Detective James Pittman at 603-792-5551."
The local community has expressed concern over the repeated violations of this neighborhood cornerstone. Manchester PD has released images captured from the burglary events, showcasing the November 7 and last Monday's incidents side by side. The department hopes, that by making the information public someone will come forward with information to apprehend the person, or persons, responsible for these crimes.
