On Wednesday, November 27, routes 781, 784, 785, and 789 will operate under the regular bus schedule that riders are accustomed to; however, on Thanksgiving Day, which falls on Thursday, November 28, the transit service will take a holiday hiatus with no buses running on this day in observance of the holiday, the post advises commuters to check maplegrovetransit.org for the current trip schedule and details regarding adjustments.
The day after Thanksgiving, known for its Black Friday shopping frenzy, will see a special one-day reduced schedule on Route 781 only, as highlighted by the same City of Maple Grove post. Unlike previous years, where limited service might have been offered across various routes, it’s noteworthy for transit users that no other routes will operate, including the Route 781P branch to Parkway Station this year.
