A Memphis man has been arrested and faces multiple charges after a shooting at an Orange Mound restaurant, according to authorities. Jeremy Gray, 28, has been charged in connection with an incident that took place on October 11 at Boston Fish and Wings on Lamar Avenue where two individuals were shot.

Memphis Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the restaurant and upon arrival found one victim with a graze wound to the face, while a second victim was later taken to the hospital in critical condition, Action News 5 reported. The affidavit noted that the second victim went to the restaurant to pick up an order when the suspect allegedly entered and stated, “I told you I’d find you in the mound,” subsequently leading to a physical altercation and the shooting.

Gray, who was identified by one of the victims in a lineup, now faces charges including criminal attempt first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and employment of a firearm during a dangerous felony. According to FOX13 Memphis, the accused has been booked into the Shelby County jail with bond set at $850,000.

Further complicating the case, during a November 22 traffic stop, officers discovered a stolen handgun in Gray's possession leading to additional charges, reported WREG. The firearm, a Glock 17 Gen4, was reported stolen from Oak Court Mall in May. Gray's total bond has been set at $892,500 and he is estimated to appear in court on Monday morning.

In addition to the shooting incident, Jeremy Gray also faces charges from a previous case, where he was accused of firing shots at his girlfriend’s car on January 31, 2023. These charges include aggravated assault and employment of a firearm with intent to commit a felony. This adds another layer to the severity of his alleged offenses. His court appearance is highly anticipated in light of the recent developments.
