
The Memphis community is grappling with a tragedy as police search for four suspects connected to a deadly road rage incident that claimed the life of a young woman and injured others, including a child. The Memphis Police Department has reportedly arrested a suspect in the case after a woman was fatally shot during what's described as a road rage altercation on Winchester Road near Winbrook Drive last Friday, information provided by Action News 5.
A report from FOX13 Memphis details that the victim, identified as 23-year-old Rodneisha Denton, was involved in an argument that later escalated, leading up to the fatal shooting and a consequent car crash that injured a 27-year-old man and a 1-year-old child, who are expected to recover. The incident occurred early Friday morning and was followed by a vehicle flipping over into a ditch.
Adding to the intensity of the case, investigators are reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying the suspects believed to be involved. According to Local Memphis, the suspects were seen in the vicinity minutes before the tragic series of events unfolded. The MPD has released pictures of the individuals in hopes that community assistance can lead to their identification and apprehension.
