
The Metropolitan Police Department is searching for two individuals involved in a robbery that occurred on Wednesday in Southwest DC. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the incident took place on the 4600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue at around 5:04 p.m.
According to the victims, the incident started when one suspect initiated a conversation in a building hallway. The second suspect then appeared with a firearm. They forced the victim into their home, where they took property before escaping. The police responded after being alerted, but the suspects had already fled the scene, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department.
Details about the stolen property have not been released, but authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects. The Metropolitan Police Department advises witnesses not to approach the individuals but to contact law enforcement. There is a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
