Joining him in lockup were Mahjae Wade and Donniguea Snider, both from Southeast, DC, apprehended on the 700 block of S Street, NW.

On Sunday, 56-year-old Vincent Cooper from Northwest, DC, was taken into custody for unauthorized use of a vehicle following an incident on the 5800 block of Georgia Avenue, NW. The Metropolitan Police Department's release provides further details of the spree, highlighting Monday's apprehension of Tania Walters, a 50-year-old from Northeast, DC. She was charged with both theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle on the 1700 block of Bladensburg Road, NE. Among the listed was also Danell Hudson, 20, pinched for the same, involving an automobile on the 1900 block of 9th Street, NW.

The preceding Wednesday, before this cascade of illicit borrowing, Alex Yi, 25 from Catonsville, MD, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle on the 1400 block of F Street, NW. These series of events have prompted the MPDC to issue a statement urging community members to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior.
