
The Nevada State Police Department are actively seeking a suspect following a hit-and-run incident that occurred early Thursday morning on I-15, near Lake Mead. According to FOX5 Vegas, the incident involved a vehicle that struck a female pedestrian around 3:50 a.m. The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported to the hospital and is currently in critical condition.
Investigators are searching for a 2018 Cadillac Escalade or GMC Yukon that may have damage on its left-front or left side from a crash. The Nevada State Police Department are asking the public for help and encouraging anyone with information to come forward, as per FOX5 Vegas.
Nevada State Police Highway Patrol's Homicide Unit is spearheading the investigation. As reported by News 3 LV, they have yet to determine the color of the vehicle but the impact likely left conspicuous damage.
