
Firefighters quickly responded to a fire at a residential building on Music Street in New Orleans, rescuing two dogs trapped inside. According to the New Orleans Fire Department, they received the call at 9:13 p.m. and arrived on the scene at 9:21 p.m. to battle the blaze
The occupants of the residence had already evacuated when it was reported that two dogs, a pit bull and a yorkie, were still inside. Firefighters responded quickly, conducting an "aggressive interior attack" to extinguish the flames and rescue the pets. The operation lasted about twenty minutes, with the fire being declared under control at 9:33 p.m. A total of seven units and twenty-one New Orleans Fire Department personnel were involved in the effort, ensuring the safety of the community.
The New Orleans Fire Department quickly responded to a fire, preventing any injuries or fatalities. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The fire department’s efforts to rescue the family pets were appreciated, with the owners expressing their heartfelt, “thanked our fire personnel for their efforts,” for the brave response.
