The threat, which appeared on social media last Wednesday, prompted an investigation by New Orleans Police Department Second District detectives. The threat caused concern among students, parents, and staff at the school, located on South Claiborne Avenue.
A 15-year-old girl, accompanied by her mother, voluntarily went to the New Orleans Police Department Second District station. "The juvenile admitted her involvement in the incident." After her confession, she was arrested and charged with terrorizing. She was booked into the Juvenile Justice Intervention Center. The New Orleans Police Department has stated that the investigation is ongoing and is seeking additional information about the case.
