
The New Orleans Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating Brian Charles Kent, a White male born on October 2, 1983, who is wanted in connection with several theft-related crimes in downtown New Orleans. Kent is accused of posing as a valet parking attendant to steal from victims, including committing simple burglary, theft, and attempting auto theft, as reported by the New Orleans Police Department.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the incident took place around 5:33 a.m. last Friday on the 300 block of Poydras Street. Kent allegedly took the keys to a vehicle after attempting to steal it, but was only able to take items from inside the car before leaving. The New Orleans Police Department has released a recent photograph of Kent and is asking anyone with information to come forward to help with the investigation.
