The New York Police Department is currently seeking information regarding an assault that took place in the Bronx, where a 65-year-old woman was shot in the leg. According to a Facebook post by NYPD Crimestoppers, the incident occurred on November 20 near 583 Jackson Avenue. The NYPD 40th Precinct reports that the woman was approached by two unidentified assailants who discharged a firearm, resulting in her injury.
As the search for the perpetrators continues, NYPD Crimestoppers has announced a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the assault. The NYPD has urged anyone with information to come forward, detailing that tips can be submitted by calling 800-577-TIPS, or anonymously through their website.
