Authorities have issued a call to the public to assist in locating a missing juvenile considered to be at risk. The youth, identified as 11-year-old Carter Jackson, has been missing since yesterday. According to a social media post by the Oceanside Police Department, he was last seen around 11 a.m. on the 2000 block of California Street in Oceanside.
At the time of his disappearance, the young Carter was wearing a black hat, a black and white shirt, black pants, and black shoes. Jackson is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds, with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes.
The police have urged anyone who has any information or might quickly encounter the boy to contact the Oceanside Police Department at (760) 435-4900 or call 9-1-1 immediately.
