According to an announcement on the City of Oklahoma's official website, "Defendants will be notified of their new court date."
Furthermore, Judge James is providing relief for defendants and attorneys caught in the disruption. Recognizing the unforeseen nature of these weather events, the judge is granting continuances without the usual accompanying fee. This decision offers a financial reprieve for those scheduled to appear in court, as noted by the court's statement.
In light of the cancellations, individuals who wish to request a continuance due to the cancellations have been encouraged to do so. "Judge James is granting continuances without a continuance fee for cases set on Monday, Nov. 4, for any defendant/attorney who requests one," as per the city's official announcement.
