Earlier this past Saturday, a domestic dispute in Villa Rica erupted into violence, leaving one person dead and two others critically injured. Villa Rica police, responding to a call on Conners Road just after 6 a.m., discovered three adult victims of gunshot wounds, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two were promptly hospitalized, with no update on their condition.
The suspect, after fleeing the scene of the crime, was later apprehended in Cobb County. According to both WSB-TV and authorities, he has been identified as 35-year-old Karlton Sirmons, from Norcross. Police have charged Sirmons with murder, home invasion, and additional related offenses. While the investigation continues, details on what led to the shooting remain scarce.
