The operation, which was the culmination of a probe into suspected heroin and fentanyl distribution, took place at 170 Hampshire Street, Holyoke. Announced via a Facebook post from the Holyoke Police Department, the search yielded a significant quantity of heroin/fentanyl.
During a raid, two people, Yashira Perez, 31, and Jarileemari Opio Bonilla, 23, were arrested and charged with possession of a Class A drug and intent to distribute. The raid took place in a quiet neighborhood on Hampshire Street, where police found a large amount of drugs. The Holyoke Police Department thanked everyone involved in the successful operation.
