Queen Creek residents experienced a brief hiccup in their weekend plans when they received a late notification about the already-concluded Free Pancake Breakfast event. Due to a technical snafu, the news release intended to announce the complimentary morning feast, which also featured the Touch-A-Truck experience and flu shots, was erroneously delivered post-event.
Officials promptly issued a correction, expressing their regret over the miscommunication. "We apologize for the inconvenience," relayed the town's announcement after the mix-up became apparent. The residents who missed out on the syrup-slathered stacks and community mingling will have to wait to wholly enjoy the upcoming festivities in December. Luckily, the town's event calendar is as stuffed as an over-enthusiastic pancake, according to the Queen Creek Town Hall.
Set in the Queen Creek Town Center at 21802 S. Ellsworth Road, the QC Hometown Christmas is promising to bring holiday cheer over two days, starting with a tree lighting from 6-8 p.m. on December 6. The following day, December 7 kicks off with a parade at 10 a.m., promising a lively celebration for community members of all ages.
