A fatal altercation between roommates in North Phoenix escalated into gunfire on Wednesday afternoon, leaving one man dead, police reports state. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the dispute broke out near 21st Avenue and Thunderbird Road, with officers arriving around 3 p.m. to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound who was later pronounced deceased at a hospital, his identity as of yet unrevealed.
The investigative response by the Phoenix Police brought a second man into custody at the scene, who after being questioned was released pending the ongoing investigation.
