"We are committed to developing a sustainable vision for the Oquirrh region, one that reflects the values and priorities of our community," Jason Wolf, Salt Lake County's Canyon Management Program Director said, as per Salt Lake County, emphasizing the importance of public participation in the planning process. Alongside Salt Lake County municipal partners like Bluffdale, Herriman, Riverton, West Jordan Cities, and the Wasatch Front Regional Council, the county is looking to craft a proposal that aligns with the interests of residents as well as the numerous visitors who flock to the area for its charming beauty and extensive range of outdoor activities, residents, visitors, and all those who value the Oquirrh area are encouraged to get involved in the discussion.
The time frame for the community to have their say is firmly set; the public comment period started recently and will run through November 25.
