In a routine traffic stop that escalated beyond mere vehicle code violations, San Diego Police unveiled a more sinister find within a nondescript RV. According to a social media post by the San Diego Police Department, the encounter occurred in early October when two officers patrolling the Golden Hill neighborhood in Central Division spotted and subsequently stopped the vehicle for numerous breaches of traffic law.
What began as a standard procedure soon took a grave turn. The officers, upon conversing with the driver, stumbled upon indicators of narcotics inside the RV. The subsequent search resulted in an alarming discovery as five individuals were removed from the vehicle – three adults and two small children. As the investigation unfolded, a variety of dangerous drugs were found alongside the paraphernalia used to consume, package, and therein sell those substances.
Their search further revealed an array of illegal firearms ranging from handguns to more deadly weaponry such as AR-15 style rifles, complete with the necessary ammunition for each. All adults present in the RV were arrested on multiple felony charges.
