The San Jose Police Department is reaching out to the community, seeking help in tracking down a driver involved in a severe hit-and-run incident. According to their report, on October 18 at roughly 6:51 PM, a pedestrian was struck at the intersection of North 11th Street and East Julian Street. The victim, who was using the crosswalk, was hit by an unidentified vehicle making a turn onto North 11th Street from East Julian, as per San Jose Police Department's release.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and have since been stabilized. As for the responsible party, the vehicle, possibly a black 2013-2019 Ford Escape or similar, was last seen fleeing the scene

Investigators have managed to secure surveillance footage that captured the suspect vehicle. The SJPD continues its investigation and strongly encourages anyone with information about the suspect's whereabouts or the vehicle to come forward.
