The winter celebration promises a slew of holiday activities starting at 4 p.m. with everything from food trucks and holiday music to a gift market at City Springs, as reported by the City of Sandy Springs.
Partygoers will be treated to an evening filled with holiday cheer courtesy of snow machines, holiday music by vocalist Ansley Stewart, and heaps of festive food options. If you're hunting for the perfect spot to watch the parade, look no further than Sparkle Wonderland. To capture those memorable holiday snaps, attendees can pose alongside inflatables like Santa Claus and The Grinch at City Springs.
An exciting addition this year is the Sparkle Village, shining bright next to the City Green, where decorated miniature homes created by community groups will be vying for votes, boasting rights and perhaps even a touch of friendly competition. "Guests can vote for their favorite home with the winner earning bragging rights for the entire year," the City's announcement detailed. On top of that, visitors can enjoy a spin around the ice at Skate City Springs, or warm up with beverages from CityBar & Cafe.
The centerpiece of the festivities, the Sparkle parade, will roll out at 6 p.m. starting at Mount Vernon Hwy and Lake Forest, parading past festive decorations and a three-story Christmas tree, ending with a flourish in front of Sandy Springs City Hall. The evening's grand finale includes the lighting of the Menorah and the Christmas tree, brought to life by Mayor Rusty Paul's countdown.
