The authorities have issued an urgent appeal to the public for assistance in locating a missing endangered person. According to a Facebook post by the Sanford Police Department, 61-year-old Kevin Boyer was last seen leaving Sanford Manor Assisted Living Facility at approximately 6:30 a.m. yesterday.
Boyer, described as a 6'03" tall black male weighing about 154 pounds, was reported to have jumped a back gate of the assisted living facility to leave the property. He was last seen wearing grey pants, a grey shirt, and no shoes. Due to his mental health diagnosis, authorities are considerably concerned for his well-being. They are pleading for the public's aid to safely locate Kevin, who is currently without personal transportation or a cellphone.
The authorities mentioned that although Boyer has no family in the immediate area, they believe he might be trying to make his way towards the Pine Hills area. The Sanford Police Department has urged anyone with information regarding Boyer’s whereabouts to come forward and contact them directly.
