The City of Surprise is rolling out the red carpet straight to Santa's Workshop, promising folks a slice of the North Pole right in Arizona. Scheduled for December 11, 12, and 13, the Surprise Stadium Team Shop at 15930 N. Bullard Ave. transforms into a festive haven from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. - and it's not costing a dime, according to the City of Surprise.
Santa, with his requisite ho-ho-ho, will be there to listen to children's wishlists, doling out smiles and surely inspiring a few. Parents, remember to charge your camera batteries. The event announcement notes there won't be a professional photographer in sight.
