The Scottsdale Human Services Department is calling for public input as it crafts its three-year strategic plan. This plan will focus on a range of support areas including self-sufficiency, social services, behavioral support, and programs for individuals with disabilities or low to moderate income, as reported by the City of Scottsdale.

Aiming to empower locals, the department is seeking feedback through an online questionnaire open until November 29, said Kira Peters, Scottsdale Human Services Department Director, "Public participation is imperative to shaping the future of our department," she emphasized in a statement, "Our core mission is to serve the community, and we’re excited to see their ideas to enhance how we serve them in the future."

Engagement from the community is not just encouraged but rewarded, as participants who complete the survey will be entered into a draw for a new iPad, as detailed by the City of Scottsdale. Those interested in contributing their thoughts on the vision and operations of Scottsdale's Human Services have until the end of the month to voice their opinions.
