The community is on alert as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a Silver Alert for 80-year-old James Martin Jr., who has gone missing from Casselberry. According to authorities, Martin was last seen near the 1400 block of Lake Shore Drive in Casselberry. Citing concerns for his well-being, the alert has been widely circulated in hopes of a swift resolution.
Martin is described as standing 6 feet tall, weighing 160 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. When he was last seen, he was wearing a gray T-shirt, gray shorts, and brown Crocs. Notably, he may be traveling in a distinctive red 2015 Volkswagen Beetle bearing Florida license plate number Y47GXN, with what FDLE described as a white bumper sticker on the left side of the license plate, according to a report by ClickOrlando.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help to find Martin. Anyone who has seen him or knows his location is urged to contact law enforcement immediately. The FDLE and Casselberry Police Department lead the search and encourage community members to provide helpful information.
