A 24-year-old man was carjacked at gunpoint on Monday in the 1100 block of Hodiamont in the West End neighborhood. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the victim was forced out of his 2014 Volkswagen Jetta shortly after getting into the car at around 5:30 a.m.

The police reported that the victim was approached by three male suspects, who were armed with a firearm to ensure compliance. The suspects forced the victim to exit his vehicle and then quickly entered it. They fled in the stolen Jetta. The victim was not physically harmed during the incident, as reported by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

The police are investigating a violent carjacking and are seeking information to help identify the suspects. No arrests have been made, and the location of the stolen Jetta is currently unknown.
