The Louisiana State Police are seeking help in locating the suspect involved in a fatal hit-and-run in St. Bernard Parish on Monday morning. At approximately 3:15 a.m., 26-year-old Kyle St. Angelo was struck by a pickup truck while riding his motorcycle on Louisiana Highway 46 at Riverbend Drive, as reported by WGNO.
According to a statement obtained by WDSU, a pickup truck traveling southbound turned left onto Riverbend Drive and collided with a motorcycle. The rider, Kyle St. Angelo, was ejected from his motorcycle and died from his injuries at the scene.
A suspect involved in a hit-and-run that resulted in the death of St. Angelo is believed to have been driving a newer model, light-colored, crew cab Ram pickup truck, possibly white. The vehicle likely has damage to the front passenger door. Investigators have been working to identify the make and model of the truck. The driver left the scene without stopping or notifying authorities. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to come forward and assist in the investigation, as noted by WWLTV.
