On Thanksgiving morning, Stoneham police responded to an armed home invasion at an apartment on Fallon Road. Two suspects are reportedly on the run after entering an unlocked apartment and confronting the residents while they were asleep, demanding money. The investigation is ongoing, according to the Stoneham Police Department.
Police Chief James O'Connor said a home invasion happened around 5:30 a.m. after the residents returned home. One suspect, holding a knife, punched the male resident and demanded cash. The suspects stole money and valuables. The male suspect wore a green and black North Face jacket, and the other was a white male with blue eyes in black clothes, as reported by the Stoneham Police Department.
The Stoneham Police Department believe the crime was planned and not random. They’ve increased police patrols in the area but say there’s no ongoing threat. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sgt. Christopher Dalis at 781-438-1215 ext. 3133.
