The Alameda County Sheriff's Office has reported the arrest of a suspect implicated in a series of stabbings that took place in San Lorenzo on Wednesday evening. Per the details released by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, the first incident was reported at around 6:20 p.m. on the 15000 block of Via Nueva, quickly followed by another on the intersection of Grant Avenue and Via Nueva. Both victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.
Following the stabbing incidents, deputies from the Eden Township Substation performed a search of the area without immediate success in locating the suspect. However, detectives assigned to the case worked expediently, managing to arrest the suspect yesterday, at approximately the same hour of the day the stabbings occurred.
