A multi-vehicle crash in Lawrenceville on Wednesday evening resulted in one death and several injuries. The collision occurred on Buford Drive at Hurricane Shoals around 6 p.m., involving a head-on impact with a Nissan Rogue. Police suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash, and charges are expected against the at-fault driver, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.
The Lawrenceville Police Department reported that the crash on State Route 20 caused significant traffic disruptions the day before Thanksgiving. The driver of the Nissan Rogue died from serious injuries. The other driver and several passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, as reported by 11Alive News.
