A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured in a shooting in the Holly Hills area, according to authorities. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the incident, which occurred around 3 p.m. yesterday in the 6400 block of Alabama.
The victim told police he was standing outside near an alley with a friend when someone in a blue Honda Odyssey opened fire. The teenager tried to run to the 600 block of Holly Hills, where he realized he had been shot in the leg. EMS took him to a local hospital, where he is in stable condition.
While the details surrounding the motive and circumstances of the shooting remain scant, law enforcement officials are looking for leads to apprehend those involved. The suspect’s vehicle description is one of the few clues currently at the disposal of the police.
