A restaurant in Townsend, Trailhead Steak & Trout House, was destroyed by a fire early Friday morning. Known for its rustic charm and hearty meals, the restaurant was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters from Townsend and Blount County arrived to battle the blaze, as reported by WVLT.
Emergency services received a call just before 5:00 a.m., prompting crews to respond to a fire on E. Lamar Alexander Parkway. Upon arrival, fire officials found the building fully on fire.
