A shooting outside Sake vs. Tequila, a sushi restaurant located at 3855 Elvis Presley Blvd in Whitehaven, has left two individuals injured, as reported by Local Memphis. On the night of November 15, police responded to calls of an aggravated assault. Officers arrived to find two gunshot victims and a large crowd gathered near two vehicles.
A handgun was found in the backseat of a silver 2012 Mazda, another individual on the scene claimed it as his, having pulled it out in response to the suspect's gunfire, this was found in the car during the police investigation, Local Memphis details.
Authorities have stated that both victims were transported to Regional One Health facilities and were in non-critical condition. Witness accounts indicate that the suspect fired the shots from the direction of Elvis Presley Boulevard which is corroborated by surveillance videos showing the suspect shooting and a person returning fire, the spent casings were found also there, FOX13 Memphis noted.
